Clinical & Advanced Clinical Courses are being conducted in Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane in 2010.
A Clinical Course will also be held in Darwin in 2010.
All courses in 2010 will be conducted over 6 days, from 8.30 am until 5.30 pm with a total of 48 hours of interactive theory & practical experience. All courses will include the course handbook, a set of relaxation recordings & CDs, lunches, morning & afternoon teas & a supportive learning environment with peers.

Advanced Clinical Courses for 2010
Certificate of Advanced Clinical Hypnosis
The Advanced Clinical Course for 2010 will include regression, imaginal progression, rapid inductions and hypnoanalysis. Principles to avoid false memory syndrome are included. These skills can be used to treat acute and chronic stress disorders (ASD and PTSD) as well as to treat phobias and to enhance confidence and self efficacy.
The Advanced Clinical Courses for 2009 included principles from the work of Dr Fritz Perls & include Modified Role Play in Trance. Dr Perls was the founder of the South African Institute for Psycholanalysis & the founder of Gestalt Therapy. All courses have a CBT foundation.

Reaccreditations have been sought for courses in 2010 with the APS and the AASW. The other bodies have approved the courses as per 2009.
Accreditations for 2009 :
Approved by the Australian Psychological Society (APS)for 96 specialist PD points for the Health, Community and Counselling Colleges and for 96 generalist PD points.
Approved by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) for double credit points as 96 points.
Approved by the The General Practice Mental Health Standards Collaboration (GPMHSC) for general medical practitioners (GPs) to apply to register to use the Medicare mental health item numbers (levels 1 and 2 mental health skills training) when they use Focussed Psychological Strategies (FPS) from accredited practices.
Approved by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) for 6 active learning modules (ALMs) as 6 x 40 = 240 Category 1 CPD points.
Approved by the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) for 30 Extended Skills PD points & 30 Core Skills PD points.
Approved by OT Australia (Australian Association of Occupational Therapists-AASW) for 12 credit hours.
Approved by the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN) for 48 CPE points.
Psychiatrists can allocate 48 credit hours for MOPS.
Approved by the College of Nursing (CN) for 68 CPD hours.
Approved by The Australian Practice Nurses Association (APNA) for CPD hours.
Approved by the Australian College of Midwives (ACM) for 45 PD credit points under the midPLUS programme.
Accredited by The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) CPD Program, approval no. 1419 under Category 2/Level 2 2 Credits per hour as 96 credit points. (Accreditation does not represent endorsement or approval by the ANZCA of the activity.)
